We were visiting family in Boise, and this is a half hour drive on the freeway, so not hugely convient for our needs. WIFI and cable, but no internet.

Couldn’t find a great spot around as it as all booked. Stayed at the elks lodge as were members but the 30 amp kept turning off and our generator kept over heating in the 100 degree weather. Called and paid $26 a night for full hookups. 50 amps saved us during this crazy heatwave. It’s a gravel lot with green space around it for pets. No internet, but good Verizon Full bars and lte. The train goes by but if you sleep good. No problem! It doesn’t bother us at all. They only blow the horn during the day! Put a quarter on the track a collect a souvenir!!

We were fortunate to find a place to stay without reservations on a Saturday night; everything else in the area was booked. We arrived around 6 pm and it was considered “after hours”, so had to leave our credit card info in a drop box. We stayed in one of the sites designated as “first come, first served”. Lots of permanent residents and some shabby units. The site next to ours was occupied by someone apparently sleeping in their vehicle (for one night), which was interesting. There’s a “private lake” on the property that seemed to be the source of the mosquitoes. Guests can fish there without purchasing a license (we did not). Homeless camp nearby. Sad representation of the state of the economy.

We are tent campers, saw this place at the end of our day. Water at tent sites doesn’t work and we were not told this and didn’t realize until set up. One restroom… have to go around all the RVs to get there. Only water is in laundry room ( that closes at 10 and has no coin machine) so after that you can get it in bathroom. Road noise from freeway. Lots of flys. 90 % of the place are fulltime boarders. We thought about a refund but we needed to dry out our tent- we will leave as early as possible. DON’T STAY HERE!

Reasonably clean park and facilities. Fishing lake is a pond, catch and release only, no swimming. Park was quiet (although the highway isn't far off and there is noticeable noise if in a tent) and reasonably priced for full hook ups.
