Kincaid Lake, a 2,600 acre reservoir, provides the setting for this attractive development. Kincaid Recreation Area provides a wide range of outdoor opportunities including camping, swimming, picnicking, boating, water skiing, fishing, hiking, and bicycling. Trash disposal available. Paved roads. Directions: From Alexandria, drive west on Louisiana Highway 28 for 12 miles to Louisiana Highway 121 at Gardner. Turn left (south) and go 0.25 mile to Forest Road 279 (Valentine Road). Turn left (east) on Hwy 279 and go 3.5 miles to Forest Road 205, where you will turn left (north) and proceed to the recreation area entrance and fee station.
Nice camping spot. We stayed in tents in the primitive camping area. Nice off road bike trails around the lake.
