“Limited quantities of handmade lavender products”
We are a small farm committed to producing limited quantities of handmade lavender products, striving for the highest quality at a reasonable price giving our customers an exceptional value. Established in 2002, Prairie Lavender Farm resides on the cusp of the tallgrass and shortgrass prairies of North-central Kansas. We now grow over 3000 plants with twelve varieties of Lavender, of which about half are the Lavendula angustifolia (English lavender) varieties; the other Lavandin x intermedia or sterile hybrids.
It's off the beaten path, for sure, but the owner, Mike, was very friendly and passionate about his lavender, and the lavender is just heavenly. We stopped here on a cross country road trip last summer and I just had to re-order my linen spray online because I have never found such a wonderful, non-fake smelling linen spray. And it's nice to know that what I'm spraying on my sheets is completely natural too!
make sure to call first to be sure they are open! also, important to note there are steep hills and gravel roads to get there. worth the stop if this is your cup of tea :)
This lavender farm is amazing! The owner, Mike, is so nice and really cares about what he is doing and will tell you anything you want to know about lavender. I highly recommend this place and if you can't get there you can buy online at www.lavenderfarm.com. I will definitely be going back!
Thank you, Mike!!! We loved our fragrant experience. Your property is lovely and your lavender products are so pure, natural, and spectacular!!! I would love to come again during your annual lavender festival!
This was the highlight our our family road trip last year - so much so we will return again this year! Products are quality and smell beautifully and Mike, the owner, was so sweet, knowledgeable and accommodating.
