Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on February 01, 2023Our check-in process was fast, easy and very friendly staff. Camping was only $21 with 50amp hookup. We only needed to be here one night, just traveling through, but would recommend for longer if you were doing multiple days in the Wichita area. Campground is on a nice lake. Camping was VERY quiet. Water fill is available. I did not see if there was a dump station or not. Would definitely recommend staying here. We stayed in a 40' fifth wheel. Plenty of room!

They have combed beaches. 50-30 amp hookups. You empty water and fill fresh water at enterence and exit. They have camp fire rings. Had a place where our dog can enter water!!! Loved this spot.

The people who operate Santa Fe Lake are very helpful and friendly. I had a great spot with a view of the lake, and great view of the morning sunrise. It was very peaceful and relaxing.
Hook ups are only electric, but I was able to top off my freshwater tank on the way in. Also the dump station is free if you are camping here, otherwise it's a $10 fee.
It's $15 a night plus the park membership fee. I think it's $7 a night if you are not an annual member. I live near here so I got the annual membership since I plan to visit here a few more times throughout the year.

We feel so fortunate to have seen the reviews of this place on Campendium. It’s a beautiful lake with resident bald eagles, blue herons, and migrating pelicans. 450 acres in total with 250 being the lake. There’s a 7 mile trail and plenty of good walking just around the lake on the gravel. Very well maintained and just about the friendliest and most cordial hosts you can imagine. Shade, sun, swimming, dog beach, some sites with hook-ups and others without (our preference.) We’ll be back!

As the manager stated this is a cozy but unconventional campground. No defined sites to speak of. All parking is on grass and multiple rigs use the same power poles. No water at the sites. Only three shaded sites under low hanging trees.
Lots of locals enjoying the lake while we were there. They had mtn bike and paddle board rentals.
Also had tree mtn bike trails adjacent to the park.
During our stay we were awakened by tornado sirens. While trying to make a hasty retreat we got stuck in the mud. Fortunately we were able to extricate ourselves with our 4 wheel drive. When we went to the front office the manager was standing in the rain, weather radio in hand and informed us there was a tornado on the ground south of us and that we should go to the police statin nearby to shelter. Turned out to be a non-event for us at the campground thankfully.
We were concerned about getting the trailer out due to the mud, but had no problems.

Wonderful camping experience! Our vintage camper was right by the water, allowing us to launch our kayaks steps away. Grounds are mowed frequently and the portable restrooms were clean. We had a picnic table and fire ring at the campsite, as well as afternoon shade. Nice little playground right across the road. Perfect family campground.

I stayed just under two weeks. This location get's busy on the weekends, but none of it distracted from my experience. I was able to park in a great location looking out over the lake. I had the choice of a great view from my RV's dinning room table, or the covered picnic table at site #17. The staff are great to work with. At least in my experience. There is electric only at the camp sites, and a dump station near the permit office. I use Winegard ToGo with ATT for internet, Verizon for my cell phone. Both worked well. Also, you can pickup a great selection of over the air TV from here.

This location is near my home base. I could park there and stay while I'm in the area, but the lake is a better view. I get along great with the staff. This location is popular with the locals and can stay busy especially on holiday weekends. But I've never had a problem here... Right now as I write this review there is only one other RV in the whole place... It's almost like having the lake to myself...

Peaceful back in site. Well spaced. Sunrise and moonrise out of the rear hatch of our new airstream. Great for paddle boards and kayaks, you can launch straight from the site. If you are into disc golf, there is a new course in Andover just minutes away. Site was level with 30 amp service. Now water or sewer, but there is potable water and a dump station for free when you arrive at the campground. We got here at 3pm on a Thursday in August and had our choice of the campsites, it was about half full by 7pm. Att cell service was 2 bars of 5G.

We stopped here one night on our way from Colorado to Arkansas. The lake is stunning and you can catch the sunrise and the sunset. The owners are attentive and the grounds are immaculate! There is mountain biking and lots of flat water fitness… paddleboard, kayaking, etc. Hope to come back again!
