The Border Patrol will certainly know you are here - they patrol through Regularly and say this is a popular Drop Off spot for people to walk around the check station a few miles north. This did not deter us since we were in a large RV (with good locks) and we had a good nights sleep knowing ‘patrols’ were watching. Very roomy and shaded rest park with one table and trash and plenty of room for any size rig on their way, like us, to Big Bend.
