Bienvenido Motel

I did a review of this motel when we stayed here last summer. Those are pictures I took of our actual room. Not sure why that review is gone. The hotel was truly awful. It came complete with non functioning phones and a door that would not lock. So we could not even secure our own room. We even got a lovely visit by the Alpine police at three in the morning to get our statement because of an incident at the hotel. The officer told us people only stayed at this motel to make “deals”. If we hadn’t already given our credit card ahead of time, and weren’t 8 hours from home, we would have just kept driving. It has gone down in our family history as the worst place we have EVER stayed. We did not feel safe at all. Especially when the “handyman” finally came to fix the broken deadbolt and let us know he hadn’t responded earlier because he was locked up.
