Entering FR 2310 can be daunting as there is an ominous sign stating that the road is not to be trusted. We were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the road. While there were a few bumpy areas, for the most part it was a smooth drive and no high clearance was needed. It is a one lane road. Take a left at the first road to reach the spur, signed 8153A.
The area was recently logged, but many mature trees remain. Evidence of the controlled burn exists and the area is very sunny. It is a good area for those with solar and a few sites would allow Starlink users to have a connection.
Continue up the hill for more open sites away from the highway. There is ample sign of wildlife including elks and bighorn sheep tracks.
The area received 3 bars of Verizon 4G with 123 megabit download and 16 megabit upload and no AT&T coverage.
