Betty's RV Park

Everyday at 4:30 Betty brings everyone together for happy hour. Perfect time to share experiences, get to know one another, get tips on the area and listen to some Cajun music. We made new friends and learned more about Cajun country than we would have if we'd stayed in a State Park.

Betty's RV is quaint and inviting. She has created a very special park, truly one to be experienced.

Sites are gravel (some puddles when it rains, but it drains quickly)

Betty’s RV Park is not just a place to park it is a DESTINATION.
This is Cajun RV heaven. With only 17 full hook-up sites and a wonderful public gathering room with porch, this RV park is outstanding in charm and fun. Every day at 4:30 there is a social get-together BYOB happy hour. Food and Cajun music fill the air and Betty will invite you to play and sing along. Everyone is welcome to add to the music. Betty will meet you on arrival and help you into your site. She’ll make sure you have everything you need. The park is close to town and easy walking distance from a Dollar General store and Circle K mini mart. If you want a real treat and a taste of true Cajun hospitality, stay a few days at Betty’s RV park in Abbeville, Louisiana. You will have a guaranteed BU-YA good time.

Betty’s RV Park is the best! It is a small park full of Southern Louisiana hospitality and charm. The sites are gravel. There is a little road noise but not bad. You arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend. Betty makes you feel like family. We especially enjoyed the 4:30 pm happy hours where we meet our neighbors. We will definitely return and plan on letting our friends know this is one stop you definitely need to experience.

We are on our last day of our month long stay. This is the most unique and welcoming rv park we have ever stayed at. We no longer think of Betty as an our campground host but consider her a friend. She goes the extra mile to take you on excursions and tell you of all the sights to see in the area. Many times at happy hour she would show up with a prepared meal she had cooked on her smoker. It was easy to form relationships with other guests as we often travelled together to sights Betty had arranged. No there is not a pool, a laundry, or a playground, so if that is important to you - go elsewhere. If you want to learn the local culture and meet nice people - this is the place.
Bettys is right in town and close to all amenities you would need. We would love to come back again if in the area. We camped at Betty's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is definitely off the beaten path! This was our second time staying here. It is very small only about 10 sites. It’s like staying in someone’s back yard. Betty offers full hookups but nothing more! No bathrooms or showers or laundry! What keeps people coming back you ask? It’s Betty she is a hoot! Every evening at 4:30 it’s happy hour and everyone staying joins the fun! You bring your own drink and everyone brings snacks for everyone to enjoy! Its amazing the pet who come back every year and change their one night to weeks stay!
