If we want to avoid major congestion, try to drive through Nashville during the middle of the day—between 10AM and 2PM (~30 minutes from campground). Nashville’s rush hours run from around 7AM—9AM and 3PM—6PM, though these times vary depending on the day.
Check Out NLT Noon, but if we leave ~10am, we'll avoid rush hour and get to Memphis around 3PM w/ lots of time for exploring
