Departed from my summer/fall campground location on the afternoon of 10/28.
10/28: First gas stop, @ Fred Meyer's. (POI not available to add)
Overnight en-route in their lot across the street from the shop.

Quick stop at Lithia Honda en-route to pickup something I left behind there a couple of weeks back @ car appointment. Also, pitstop @ Trader Joes! :) (These two POIs were not available to add)
via State Route 89
10/29: Emergency stop for gas before Hot Springs stay. (Wasn't sure I'd make it to next planned gas stop.)

10/29: Soak & overnight stay at Steamboat Hot Springs. (POI not available to add)
10/30: Morning gas stop at Maverik. Fill up. (POI not available to add)
As a photographer, I would have liked to spent several days camping & photographing this stunning desert lake. IMHO, it rivals Mono Lake in CA. It will have to wait until retirement, however—because cell signal is not strong enough here for working online.

Now THIS looks like an interesting place to explore! Alas! I did not have time to do so on this trip, back to work on Monday...
10/30: Couldn't get in to the nearby "Death Valley RV Park" (in Beatty, not DV). I liked this place better anyway, more down-to-earth.
Surprised to find this POI on Roadtrippers! Decided against boondocking here just because it was too hot and I needed to run the air conditioner. (Didn't take the time to drive by.)
Looped over through this quiet town to avoid (most of) Vegas.
10/31: Gas stop. Fill up. (Then a trip through the Blue Beacon truck wash next door - POI not available to add)
10/31: Campsites are too close together! But I needed (a) hookups for the air conditioner, and (b) a pull-though site so I didn't have to unhitch the tow car. All the other RV parks in Kingman were full, was so I was lucky to find a site here!
11/1: The only day I actually had time to stop & eat out somewhere!
11/1: Interim stop with hookups (because it's still too hot!) until I can get to my full-time winter boondocking spot—after it cools down and an air conditioner is no longer needed!
Climate change is tough on boondockers! It's too hot everywhere! :)
