We stayed here late December, 2018 - once on the way to visit friends in Arizona and then on our way back from the visit, as we liked it so much! We opted for the tent area as our Rpod is set up with solar - had the end site which was a pull thru so we didn't have to un-hook. I think there was one other camper each night we were here. Site had a view of the river and was very quiet. Now if you want hook ups - there is a large grassy area further away from the water with random ways of parking - I couldn't figure that out, but the snowbirds were having a blast and were all decorated fabulously for Christmas - super fun to walk around there area at night! Free hot, and I mean HOT showers - wonderful as it was cold!

We were in the B loop, which has access to water and electric. The sites are on grass and relatively level, though we did not unhook for just one night. There are longer term stay folks, using this as a base for recreating on the river. Our reserved site was B18, but the long-termer next to us was REALLY close to our site. After checking with the gate we moved to another un-occupied site.
Many of the sites are relativity large and a number of folks park perpendicular in the site which tends to crowd. Also, services share two sites, so for back in’s someone will have a curb-side hookup with a longer run for water and electric. We made ours work.

Loved how it didn’t feel like arc park. Grass and trees all over along the Colorado river. I think the C area is more open and not too close to each other and has electric and water. It was pretty hot but really nice under the trees. Quiet except on Wednesday when the lawn is mowed I heard. We stayed on a Tuesday. Boat launch and picnic areas for Day use.

The spacing could have been done better, there is enough room ....Lots of returning snowbirds who seem to all know each other. Most stay 2-3 month. All very friendly, but I am not there yet :) Would do an overnighter for sure again, mostly quiet if not for jetskier or ATVer off the property boundaries. Showers were very run down and some disgusting discoloration. But staff super nice, and maintenance guy on site.

The park was easy to find. It is located north of Blythe just off of Route 95. There is pavement all the way until you arrive at the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic.
Our site, C11, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp and water only) were to the right rear. One needs a long power cable and hose to reach the services from our site Distancing is reasonable for an urban park. Had the park been full we would have been almost slide to awning. Most sites did not a vegetation barrier Each site has a table and NONE have a fire pit. Our site was flat but sloped to the front. There are longer, wider sites available to fit almost any needs. Overall the park was pretty nice but the grass was very dry and needed some attention and the interior roads were hard packed dirt. Still they were easy to drive on and dust was not a big issue. We were pleased to discover that a Black/Gray water mobile dump service was available. No decamping to dump if you are staying for a longer term. The cost was $6.00.
We did not use the included “Tengo” wifi. We did find a few OTA TV. Satellite should not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or free showers but we checked and found the washrooms to be clean but the unisex showers were a bit grungy looking.
There is a Boat ramp and dock accessing the Colorado River. A very nice small sandy beach can be found at the north end just outside of the park. There are no restaurants or services within easy walking distance from the park but you can purchase Ice at the office. Most services are available in the town of Blythe which is about 10 minutes away.
We found this park to be a quiet, pleasant urban RV park. We paid a weekly rate that worked out to $28.42 inc $2.00 per night for the dog and we feel we received very good value. We will be back if in the area again.

Bathrooms were infested with bug laced spider webs, complete with spiders! Showers were the same, with leaves and dirt clogging the drains. No sign of any recent maintenance. We did not use them. Grass is mowed but tables and water hookups were old and dirty. Kinda expensive for just water and power $40.00. Also lots of mosquitos, which we weren’t expecting, so we limited our outdoor activities…we’re from Canada, so for us to complain about skeeters, they gotta be pretty pesky!

Great little park. Not fancy with paved spots. Road to sites are dirt/grass and a bit bumpy. Right on river. Boat launches available.

We stayed in the dry camp side which is practically empty so we didn’t have crowding issues. The hookup side looked pretty full. The sites are grass under scraggly trees and very level. There are picnic sites across the driveway that we have the use of and they are right on the river, with a wonderful view of mountains in the distance. Very quiet and peaceful and a lovely place to stay. Water spigots are frequent but the water tastes funny. My only complaint is that there is only one bathroom and it is a very long way away from the campsites, so we bicycled there. Bathrooms were clean and so were showers.
Drycamp fees are $35 plus $2 for the dog.

Mosquitoes in the desert? PLENTY of them here! No sitting outdoors at sunset or at night.
