I homeschool my three daughters. I teach them about places, everything I can get my hands on. I'm an average working mother. We live like no one else so we can LIVE like no one else. We are on a very tight budget. I work a lot of overtime just to make it work. We bring our own food or shop local, and well, we just go for it! True roadtrippers at heart. <3 I love being a mom. There is so much beauty in the world. We car camp a lot. I wish we could travel more! Peddlers selling fresh fruit. Fun music. Beautiful view. This is where we started Rt 66, to make some memories that will last a life-time.

If you are an anime fan, this place is a must. Situated in the heart of Little Tokyo in L.A. - the walk there from the parking lot alone was like walking right into the Asian culture. Beautiful paper lanterns line the streets, adorable bakeries, and beautiful music played by local artist. We had to stop and dance in the streets. Just amazing. <3 Go with a light heart and have an unforgettable time! <3
Anime Jungle is actually three stores in one. And the selection of cosplay and pop-culture items will not disappoint!

Fremont Street Experience was so much fun! You can zipline above all the action! So much fun! Travel tip - lol - If you have smaller children go earlier in the day. Everyone was so friendly. It was a lot of fun! Live music, dancing, performers, some really bizarre! Worth stopping! Highly recommended.
