AMAZING experience...never been on a ferry in my life and I am so glad I decided to go a longer distance to get this bucket list item checked off!! The captain let us know about small things, even a nest with babies just off the dock as we left the port. Beautiful way to see the Atlantic for the first time :) I would tell anyone going along the east coast...this is not something to pass up!!

Great "down day" on a long trip along the coast. We fully took advantage of the shopping and the BEACH!! Also enjoyed a few carnival rides at the end of the day. I recommend stopping here...there was so many other neat things to do we had to pick and choose!

Times Square

We walked from lower Manhattan to Central Park...and hitting Times Square was like getting star struck. It was more amazing to see in person than I ever imagined...yes it is aimed at tourists and yes, we were suckered in. My daughter was pulled into a street show and it was an awesome experience for her and us to watch. The whole area is like walking onto a movie set and screens everywhere...people everywhere and so much going on. I would not suggest missing this on any trip to NYC!!

Capt. Bill and Sons Whale Watch

Let me say...this was the most amazing thing I have EVER done in my life and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable beyond any expectation I brought onboard. We went on 6/25/16, we saw 17 whales, learned their names, history and watched them for what seemed like forever. It was breathtaking to watch these peaceful creatures come within just a few feet from the boat and watch them gracefully feed. One simply cannot come to this area without taking full advantage of a whale watch...we were told that this time of year is the best for viewing and were extremely fortunate to see so many that day. We saw nearly the entire family of whales that have been tracked for over 25 years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Capt. Bill & Sons!! Thanks for such wonderful memories!!

Ben & Jerry's Factory

We had a great time on the tour and buying fun goodies in the gift shop! Best part was the FRESH free samples at the end of the tour. LOVE that I was able to visit the factory of my favorite ice cream :)

Maid of the Mist

Amazing...even not being my first time, still breathtaking. 12 years ago I was on the Canadian side...this time, on the US side. On the Maid of the Mist - it truly doesn't matter...you are in the middle of it all! No other experience like it really...floating into the middle of the horseshoe falls and sitting there for what seems like 10 minutes, soaking(pun intended) it all in...I cannot even begin to compare any other experience. If you go to the Falls...this is a MUST DO!! They haven't changed a thing in 12 years...I hope they never do :)
