I took my kids on an epic road trip through the southwest. We focused on National Parks with a few fun stops on the way.
Fun place for kids to see what is was like way back when. You are allowed to go into the stagecoach display and try on vintage style clothing.

Loved the cavern but not the walk. The elevator was broken and it was really tough getting back out of the cavern. Ugh.

Next overnight stop.
Went during off season so this was closed. Bummer. But the rock shop next to it was open. I highly recommend going in there and letting your kids break a geode. The shop owner is extremely nice.
My favorite cliff dwelling spot because they let you enter some of the homes to see what it was like. Was an easy walk as well.
Had to skip this for time....

Next over night stop.
Beautiful monument. Besides the impressive dwellings we also got to see a pocket gopher here. Adorable.
Ended up passing on this for time as well. :(
Lovely facility for your budding astronomer.

Grand canyon. What can I say that hasn't been said? The trail of time was neat.
Ravens are everywhere.
Friendly rangers and well maintained Museum. Well worth the stop.
My favorite park. So beautiful.
Tasty and don't skip the cactus garden.
Probably tried to cram too much in, but I think it was a reasonable success and we did get in the best of each state.
