We have a membership to the thousand trails parks so it did not cost anything other than membership dues ($500 yearly Zone pass) it is like other T.T. Parks on large property with lake, showers, laundry, pool (was close) club house etc. park is on a nice property, but buildings and majority of sites are in desperate need of repairs and general maintenance. Could easily be a 5 star park if Thousand trails invested into maintaining it. People are nice and friendly. Great, quiet, scenic location. We chose a water front site away from others which made it very secluded. We enjoyed our stay here. If you are not a member you maybe disappointed. My membership was affordable so I can kinda look past the lack of maintenance.

I admit I’m not the traditional “Thousand Trails” member. I did not join for amenities like pools, activities, mini golf, etc. I joined to have cost effective options to stay at a variety of places as a heavy traveler. Therefore, I really liked this campground. Some people have previously indicated the park is “dated” or “run down” and I suppose if you were looking at amenities listed above that might be true. I found the sites to be well kept, mostly level, and was lucky to score a FHU site. The park is quiet (my preference) and the staff is really friendly and helpful. They escorted me to my site at check in and answered all my questions. Will stay here again. I definitely recommend a WeBoost to boost cellular signal as the campground is remote.

Upon arrival we somehow lucked into full hookup back-in site #19. I say lucky because 80% of the sites at this place are water and electric only. This site was level with incredible tree shade but unfortunately the voltage was consistently low. Running one A/C dropped us down to 106 volts. Yikes! And our electrical post did not have any standard outlets, so plugging in the second A/C was not an option. More bad news! Successfully programmed 20 or so over the air TV channels. My AT&T phone had one bar and the hotspot wifi was ok. The campground has definitely seen better days. Roads are torn up and in dire need of repair. Tennis courts and mini golf are in deplorable condition. Pool looked ok but we didn't try it. Lodge was closed due to Covid-19. Free wifi was available on the lodge deck but it was slow. Staff does not clean the restrooms on a regular basis. The garbage in the men's restroom was not emptied once during our one week stay. One of the washing machines was ok but the three dryers were rusted and barely worked. 50 cents per load seems like a good deal, but we had to do this three times to get our clothes even close to being dry. Overall this is one of the worst Thousand Trails campgrounds that we have ever stayed in.

The lady at the front gate was very friendly. All club houses were closed, as was the pool. The mini golf was awful, and that is compared to other Thousand Trails parks.
The men's bathroom hadn't been really cleaned for at least weeks. Literally the bugs have taken over. You have to actively kill them while you shower if you choose to do so. One of the toilets was gone, another wasn't really bolted down.
The good, which might be the bad to some, was that it was mostly empty. It felt like we were boondocking most of the time.

This TT has definitely seen better days. There are NOT over 200 sites available here as most are overgrown and have been that way for decades. Not very many full hookups or 50 amps. Clubhouse and cabins are run down and some cabins boarded up. That said it is remote and quiet, not crowded and very beautiful. The fact that it is less crowded is what is appealing to us. Big Hill Pond State Park is just up the road for some good hiking.

All the other reviews here paint an accurate picture of the park. I took a walk on a Sunday morning, a day I've gotten used to as busy for weekend campers pulling out. I didn't see a soul until walking across the Phase I camping area to the laundry, which I then learned had no working units. I did see perhaps a dozen or so campers spread throughout the park, and we have 5-10 in our Phase II area with FHU. Granted, it had rained all weekend and the wet, humid feel of the day did not invite a whole lot of outdoor activity. However, I found the ghost-campground feel compelling and I wonder about the story of the park. It has surely had better days, and I do enjoy the quiet rural setting.
I would not think of this as a destination campground--a bit too far away from Memphis to consider much connection there. However, if, like us, you want a few days of seclusion and rest, I would recommend this park--even if for no other reason than I would hate for it to die out completely.

Spooky TT... All the reviews are accurate. Weird vibe as it feels like it was closed 20 years ago and it has just reopened as is. We only stayed 1 night as an overnight travel stop. If you do the same, hopefully you will get the site we had. It is unnumbered and reserved for only overnight stopovers. it is by itself in the huge parking lot by the gate and is a totally level full hookup 50 amp site under 2 dogwood trees. Fantastic overnight spot.

TT member using this site for a short stay after Boondocking for the few days to do laundary, relax, swim, etc. Turns out this park is rundown, most sites are overgrown. Small loop where most campers are directed to. Most buildings are locked up, could not find the laundry room. There is one bathroom with showers the work. Sites have power/water/dump where we stayed. If you’re an Elvis fan his Manson and birthplace are about an hour drive away to each place. Quiet place to stay but not much to do at the camp while here.

Thousand Trails sucks.
They could have an amazing location here- the area is gorgeous and remote- but they just don't spend any money on their parks. Everything is overgrown. The staff is underpaid. The ammentities... Used to be there. I'm pretty sure the tennis court here is disintegrating. The roads are a safety hazard.
The staff was very nice when he gave me instructions.
I couldn't find the 'lounge' or anything other than the one bathroom near my campsite.
The bathroom was clean-ish, the site was fine, the sunrise was breathtaking.
I ended up leaving because I couldn't get a signal for Starlink or Verizon or T mobile.
