Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on September 01, 2021We planned a one night stay on our way home to Florida. After arriving we were pleasantly surprised! There are 10 full hook up sites, the rest are 30 amp and water only. We chose a pull thru thinking we were only going to stay one nite. Loved the place so much we stayed 4! The sites are spaced very far apart. The pull thrus are long enough for our 34' motorhome and tow vehicle. The back in sites are just a long. The dump station is conveniently located at the the entrance of the campground. Beautiful wooded camp ground with plenty of lake access for swimming and fishing if you desire. The small town of Coushatta is a short drive away.

Ram GPS took us to the front door. Folks at the gate were very nice, in fact they called me in advance for our estimated arrival in case we needed the gate code. We drove to our site and found the navigation very easy. Our site was a back in that sloped down a little, but so level that we didn't have to unhook. We took a walk and found the park a little hilly, but the park was very clean and neat. The lake looked inviting, but it was a little cool. The bathroom/showers were very clean and roomy. Cell phones worked fine (AT&T), hookups good and plenty of room for the slide. Very level concrete site. We were there one night as we were headed home from a Spring Break trip with our two grandsons. The sites were spaced out so you weren't parked in your neighbors area. I gave a four rating as we really didn't get to see all that the park offered. We would certainly stay again.

As we pulled through the gate we were immediately greeted by one of their staff members who guided us to our spot and told us about the park. The sites were spaced out and it was pretty empty for the most part, we were back in the forested part and it definitely needed more lights to be well lit at night. It was unfortunately raining for most of our time here so we didn't get to enjoy the man made beach that was offered. Some campers come so they can stay close to their hunting lease, there is a hunting lease nearby because you can hear gunshots going off at certain hours of the day. There was a closed gate with a code which made us feel more comfortable. During our time there was supposed to be really bad weather and they came around to make sure we knew that certain buildings were open for our safety if it got too bad. It was about 20 minutes away from Natchitoches LA which is the cutest little town. Coushatta has a Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, and grocery stores.

We spent the night here on our way to Texas.
This park is amazing. Well kept, clean, quiet, a nice place to spend a few days.
The site was good size for our 40' rig and level, with 2 picnic tables.
Our only complaint is the 50amp service was too far for our electric hookup to reach, so we had to settle for 30 amps.
The resort is a bit offf the beaten path, but worth the extra drive.

We stopped in for two nights while evacuated during Hurricane Ida. Staff was very helpful, even called to make sure we had gate code and were situated in our site.
We did not get the opportunity to enjoy the beach and lake (never launched boat) but it was obvious that others were having a grand time.
Peaceful, very quiet at night, lots of shade. Site had fire ring, picnic table and plenty of room to park our small boat and an extra car.
