Cajun Country RV Park of Port Allen

We stayed here while visiting some family in the area. This park is definately not a resort park and is NOT geared towards vacationing families. The park is more geared towards travelling workers. The front section of the park is full of older trailers in horrible condition. The back section however is all new. The sites are large pull-thru's that feature nice concrete pads.

If the owners would tow away some of the old junk up front, I think this place would feel a lot better.

Cajun Country is a long term RV park with a few transient sites. The are mostly pull thru, full hook-up. Cable tv at each site. WiFi was good for Netflix. Disclosure, we were right under the first hot-spot, so YMMV.
Personnel were friendly and knowledgeable. Dogs seemed to be leashed except for a lone white Lab who wandered thru looking for handouts.
Fairly close to I10, so some road noise. Neighbors were quiet on a Friday night.
Camp store empty due to COVID.
Not a resort, but they don’t claim to be.
Would stop again if passing thru.

Nice quiet campground. Some are permanent RVs. We stayed in the back new section. With all pull through level, concrete pads. Bathrooms and laundry clean. Hot showers.

The Rate Is Misquoted. One Toilet does Not Work No soap or paper towel, etc. Internet Is down Very Crowded
