Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on March 27, 2024Nice place close to Fairhope. Does not take credit cards so bring cash or check. My Google maps GPS chose the wrong road to enter and a big rig would have to drive 3 miles to turn around. Take the first turn from hwy 32 and Hwy 181.

We are new to RV'ing and this is only the second park that we have stayed at, but I think we are already spoiled! Coastal Haven is located in the perfect location (less than an hour from Orange Beach) while still being far enough away to have a nice quiet location and affordable rates. It's also close to Mobile if you are into big cities.
The owners of this park have been wonderful and answered all of the questions that I had (there were many). They always answer the phone and are patient regardless of the question you are asking.
Verizon doesn't get the best service at this park but it does work. AT&T gets a more solid connection from our experience. They do have fiber internet here with WiFi at all the sites, but that is one thing that could be improved. When everybody is using the WiFi it does become a bit sluggish.
Coastal Haven is truly a hidden gem and I can't believe this park hasn't been discovered by more people. All the sites are concrete, they have pull-throughs, big rig friendly, and our site was perfectly level!
Can't recommend this campground enough!

Highly recommend this park. We stayed over 4th of July 2020. There were many empty places. Back in and pull thru spaces. Pull thrus were big enough to stay hooked up if you have a 40 ft fifth wheel. Level concrete spaces, good space in between. Full hook ups, relatively new electrical. Quiet park, under nice shade trees. Trees very well trimmed and cared for, so no worries. Never saw the manager. Everything done over the phone and left money and registration in office. No pool. But nice community room and laundry is in community room, available 24/7.
GPS was right on, no negatives here, great stay!
T-Mobile service was not good, but it was useable. Verizon Mifi worked perfectly, and our antenna got lots of channels.

Here are some pictures. Didn’t know how to add them to my prior review. Great place.
