A nice spacious park right on the water. This would be a great park to come and stay awhile. Lots of water to fish. I chose a site close to the restaurant next door called The Ark. A great place to have a fried dinner. My site is newly redone and needs more work to make it level. Cable TV at the sites and wifi if you are close to the office, of which I am not.

This campground is located conveniently off of the highway. Once inside the the campground the roads are well maintained and but tight to navigate.
In general, the campground’s facilities are okay. This campground appears to be full of full time tenants and very few short term campers.
The campground served its purpose for a quick stop over while traveling though. I would not stay here for an extended period of time.

The CG is located right off the highway and is easy to get to. Only issue was the power at the first 30 amp site I pulled in. My surge protector told me it was reverse polarity so I called the office and they gave me a lot next to it that was 50 amp. Depending on your amperage is the price. I didn’t have to pay any more for the new site. The next day the electrician was there to see what the problem was. I would highly recommend for an overnight stay or two.

Spent the night here on the way to South Carolina. Dan was very nice. The park was full but overflow area. There is no bathhouse here so you have to be self contained.

We stopped here en route from GA to Arkansas. Super easy in/out, friendly staff, lots of permanent and long term residents also very friendly. Not a whole lot of amenities but hookups were great, nice cell service. For being so close to the interstate it wasn’t too loud. The lake and river were very nice and would be fun to paddle or boat on if we’d stayed longer! Pretty docks, nice boat launch. Great area for dog walks! Easy pull thru site—we did not even unhitch, was level enough for a night’s sleep without noticing the very slight tilt forward.

Very close to I-20, occasional train (not too noisy), light traffic, but very quiet neighbors - pull the shades down and we didn’t even notice we had neighbors. Power pedestal is super short- challenged me getting the surge protector plugged in. Gravel site is narrow, but long enough for 36’ 5th wheel and still have the Crew cab LWB dually parked in front diagonally. Transition from asphalt to gravel (leaving Hwy 78) at campground is a bit rough. But All-in-All this location and site worked well for us. We hope to be back early next month. Maybe we can suggest a dinner or watering hole spot after that stay.

Safe Harbor RV Park was convenient and perfect for an overnight stay. Spaces are long and level. No extras, no picnic tables, no shower houses, however everyone was friendly, and we had no issues with the water/sewer/electric. Wifi and internet weren't great, but we were tired and not interested in watching TV anyway. Some road noise but it didn't keep us awake. Seems to be lots and lots of permanent residents there and just a few travelers coming and going. We'd stay here again if we're passing through. The owner at check-in recommended The Ark restaurant to us, which is within walking distance. We ate there and it was delicious. We appreciated the recommendation.

We stopped here traveling through the area. Good location, just off the interstate. Full hookups. Had cable and WIFI but we did not use them. Many full timers but well kept park. Mostly level pull throughs. Staff was nice. There is a train and interstate noise at night but just far enough away not to wake you if windows are closed. Would stay here again.

Right off Hwy 22 but didn't notice any noise. No frills but gravel & grass pull thru sites. Yes, neighbors were close but quiet. Owner was only one person of 3 nearby parks that sounded interested in having us as guests! Even offered to send his office lady over on her lunch to meet us.
