Love this spot as a staging ground for many activities in the area. You can visit Great Sand Dunes NP, Zapata Falls, Lake Como, Blanca Peak, Little Bear Peak, San Luis Lake, Alamosa. Plenty of hiking, off-roading, sandboarding, mountaineering, or just sitting around enjoying the view.

Way more fun for the kids than that overcrowded geyser North of here that you can't get even get close to
