I generally avoid KOA's as I find they are over priced and full of rules, but this place was great. I give credit to the amazing staff. They are so friendly and make you feel very welcome and they would help you out any way they could. We stayed during COVID so the pool was restricted to reservations of 1 hr (10 people max). Only really an issue on weekends when the park had more guests. The campground was very clean. I was able to work my 9-5 job from our campsite on wifi.

Very friendly owners. On the water with swimming but the water can be rough with waves. Great for watching the sunset. Laundry is $2 a load and $1.50 for dry. No playground. We had a site up near the road but it was more spaced out then some spots within the park. Two WiFi codes per family.

The campground is mostly seasonal but it’s well maintained. Lots of shade. Worth a stop over to see the falls. Pool is small but clean. Toilets were closed due to COVID. Quiet hours on a Friday don’t start until midnight and we had some party people next door who went to 12:40am... WiFi at the office is sufficient if needed.

Fantastic spot. Waterfront site with direct access for swimming. Sites are spaced well considering it’s a small area. Partial shade. Nice breeze. Great playground.

The park was very well maintained, clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Wifi near the office works well if you need to check emails or even hang out and work for a few hours. Beautiful walking path down to the Gorge.

This is a lovely campground right on the lake with a fantastic pool but the owner is an issue. I agree with rules and happily adhere but this guy was on a power trip. So you know I’m not over reacting here are some examples (no cleaning the pool, no snorkels in the pool, no hitting tennis balls on the shuffleboard courts, no hanging towels to dry while at the pool...). The water hook-up is horrible. I don’t recommend drinking it unless boiled. We stayed during COVID so the park was basically empty and WiFi worked great during the day but some how stops in the evening to nothing at all. We stayed as long as we did because my kids loved the pool and made friends but we made a decision to move on because of the owner. I don’t think he likes customers.

This is a very large park. There are many camping areas. We had an electric hookup with a nice pavement slab to park on. Drive or bike to the beach. Great playgrounds. From what we could see the full hookup section had very little shade. The drive over the bridge onto the island is fun.

There are 2 campsites. The newer site, near the registration office has the best access to the beach. Not a huge amount of shade on some of the sites but very clean. Great playground.

Not good for big rigs as the trees are not cut back. We scrapped many trees getting into our site. There was a large branch across our windscreen preventing us from getting out. The water is nice if you have kayak. Nice playground. If you are in a tent or small 20ft camper this would be great for you. Lots of shade. WiFi access at the office.
