This place was breathtaking. It was my childrens first trip to the gulf and it was very memorable. We spent the day plaing in the sand, making castles and searching for shells. We got to wade a bit (water was nice) and capped the day off by watching a pod of dolphins from one of the piers. We will absolutely come back.

We took our two small daughters camping for their very first time at Grand Isle State Park. It was beautiful and clean and so quiet at night. They (and we) loved it so much, we are planning a return trip a month later. I can't recommend this camp ground enough.
