This valuable piece of history has fallen into disarray over the years. This is the location where James Brown recorded his first album and where the song "The Twist" was first recorded. Unfortunately, you can't actually go into the building, but the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has put up a plaque outside to commemorate it. I hope someone is able to scoop this property up and rehabilitate it before it gets knocked down and turned into a parking lot.

Great place to grab a drink and play some old arcade games. There is plenty of space to play and root beer on tap for anyone that might need to drive after a long night of games and drinks!

This record store shouldn't be here. It is nestled in the tourist retail hell of Seaside, just above an equally amazing bookstore (Sundog Books). Central Square Records sells new and used records and cds, as well as record players, posters, and random other bits a musical merch. The staff is super friendly and eager to help, as well. Any music lover will feel welcome here--definitely worth it if you need your vinyl fix.

This is a pretty run of the mill Hampton Inn, just outside of the bustle of Niagara Falls proper. The hotel is very clean and the staff were quite kind. We stayed on a Friday night and it was surprisingly not packed full of tourists. Bonus points for a good, standard continental breakfast.

Simply breathtaking. You'll find little paths and lakes all over this mountain range. You'll have as much fun driving them as you would exploring on foot. I imagine the roads do get somewhat treacherous in bad weather, so do keep an eye out if you catch yourself in adverse conditions.

Our stay at the lake house was absolutely phenomenal. I can't recommend this hotel enough. The room was large, incredibly comfortable, and directly overlooked Mirror Lake. The staff was wonderful and were very helpful in directing us to the best places within walking distance on the Mirror Lake strip. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch the sun set and rise over the mountains. Such a great place to stay if you are in town.

Quite a nice place to stay and very close to the beach. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast (and evening snacks) were a delight. I'd definitely come back to stay at the Old Orchard Beach Inn.

This was an interesting stop along the walk through Salem. Fairly straightforward, serving entirely as a static memorial.

Guys, this place is amazing. Get there as quickly as you can and prepare to feast like a king. Breakfast all day, themed cocktails, strange decor--it is everything you are looking for, I promise.

Lovecraft's gravestone is towards the very back of the cemetery. Please be respectful.
