“Attractions & Culture in Cincinnati, OH”
King Records was an American record label, started in 1943 by Syd Nathan and originally headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. It now operates as a reissue label for its past material.
This valuable piece of history has fallen into disarray over the years. This is the location where James Brown recorded his first album and where the song "The Twist" was first recorded. Unfortunately, you can't actually go into the building, but the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has put up a plaque outside to commemorate it. I hope someone is able to scoop this property up and rehabilitate it before it gets knocked down and turned into a parking lot.
