closed the day we stopped, little sign across in parking lot, didn't mention it on their website, closed like 3 days a month for maintenance, lucky us :(, so we went to the locks visitor center very pleasant helpful attendant to answer any questions learn about locks
worth the extra miles off the highway if you are a fan, very nice tribute , didn't do the museum but the shop has very clean restrooms, very helpful attendant. There is a freedom rock right beside the building, great tribute
absolutely wonderful works of art, no one there, walked prayed signed the guest book, gave a wonderful peace f mind to a very long trip cross country
great stop and hike, it is about 3-4 miles round trip, steep rocky to get to the falls, falls are beautiful, nice parking area with restrooms
GPS brought us to the next exit, there is a rest area right on 80, other than that we got off the exit went left to the dam, cost for parking most likely day use, we left but did enjoy the view and took looks of photos
