take care! this road is in a bad shape. Use a off-road vehicle. I did it with my convertible - was a nightmare.
nice stop for short walk to the basin. something crowded
The site is not bad in the flume but the entire rest of this roundtrip through the forest is nothing special. Why have we paid for this? From my perspective it is a nice tripe along the river through the flume but not for this amount of money. 2nd concern: crowded!!!
We have climbed up the summit of Mt Megunticook and found an awesome view over the bay and the colorful trees.
The only signs for this ghost town is just a cemetery and a plaque.
This was our best hiking trail on our 3 weeks tour through UTAH, ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA and COLORADO.
There was a parking lot at the trail head, strongly recommended.
Absolutely worth to come here. Very nice place.
nice area. We liked that the old restored buildings maintained and kept in a good shape. We have made some nice photos there.
Was a very good place. Surprisingly cheap, equipped with good laundry machines, nice and clean bathroom. All what we needed for staying just for the night.
but a bit noisy when a heavy truck passed on the road
what a boring tour - it's a waste of time
Valley of Fire is much better
