Smaller RV park next to the highway. All gravel, all pull-thru, and the park is clean. The fellow who answered the phone & who greeted us upon arrival was friendly & helpful. Laundry facility is older but clean. Bathroom/shower looked clean, but some debris & hair had collected in shower stall corners. Light highway traffic and the wild burros provided some overnight noise but not bad. The park itself was very quiet. Big open land behind the park was great for walking the dogs. Park is 2.5 miles outside of Beatty, close to Rhyolite ghost town, and 40-ish miles from Death Valley National Park. Overall, our stay here was pleasant.

This is our second time in Beatty. The first was in 2018, when we came across Beatty RV. We enjoyed it so much we’ve come back for a longer stay.
The rates are great! Star gazing at night is tremendous, the park host is wonderful, the BLM gateway is sone100’ from our site, and the nightly burro calls are charming. The dogs love going for daily walks on the BLM.
The park is situated a few miles north of Beatty on Hwy 95 North. The park fills up almost every night, but by morning most folks are up and out, on their way. 95 north can get a bit noisy, but not so much it interferes with anything.
Nice level, gravel sites. Water, full hook ups. Verizon works great here. No cable but with our smartphones we can stream live news (if we want it).
One of our favorite ‘to go’ spots in the desert.

Coming off of several days of boon-docking and needed full hookups. This severed that purpose.
50 AMP for $25. I was able to do laundry, vacuum and bake.
Its right on HWY 95 and trucks fly by so if road noise bothers you don’t stay here.
We took a trip over to Rhyolite Ghost town and Goodwell Open Air Museum, about 15 minutes away.
We enjoyed walked with the dogs on BLM land accesses through a gate on the property. PLEASE bury your dog poop or
Pick it up! We saw a lot of dog poop just inside the gate.
We heard coyotes and burros but didn’t see either.

Full hookups and pull through made life easy while towing. Dog walk out in the desert along Burro trails. Cell coverage on Verizon is excellent. Will stop again on the way back.

If you're road weary or just looking for a good value, this place checks those boxes. Right off of US 95 lends it to being a quite noisy place. But for $25 for full hook-ups (the least expensive in the area) one really can't go wrong.
Sites here are all dirt/gravel pull thrus and very level. Sites are a typical size at an RV park. Very affordable laundry room with a wash going for a $1.50 and a dry for $1. Too bad there were only 2 working washers and just one working dryer. (There were 3 of each). Any sized rig can be accommodated here and there is a good Verizon signal here as well.
Real shame on the bathrooms here. While these were re-done a few years ago with nice tile and a large shower, it appears the maintenance has been lacking. In one of the bathrooms the toilet was constantly running and in the other the exhaust fan wasn't working, the shower head was very loose and the cleaning - especially in the corners - left much to be desired. Too bad. They really could be very nice bathrooms.

Has all the norms. Full hook up with 50 amps. There is a place in town that offers same price but 30 amps and is tight with thin spots.

Overall we had a good experience here. We can't rate it at 5 stars for the following reasons:
First, the Wi-Fi is not really usable throughout the park. We were toward the exit and basically had no Wi-Fi. Second, and to be fair, not the RV Park's fault, HWY 95 is very noisy. Lots of trucks and it's along the 70 MPH stretch. There are grooves on the side and center of the road for helping sleepy drivers. The side effect is that those of us actually trying to sleep can't when the truckers constantly ride over them all night.
The sites were spacious with full hookups. Very reasonable price. And there is a gate on the back of the park which leads out to thousands of acres of BLM land.
We would stay here again. It was a great place for our purpose of jumping into Death Valley.

I used it as a base camp and you can't beat the price for a spot with full hookups this close to Death Valley. I can't comment on the bathrooms or laundry since I didn't use them. I was in a spot close to the exit and they are not centrally located - not a complaint, just an observation.
I misunderstood other reviews and assumed that all the sites are 50 amp, they aren't. I made my reservation late and the only thing available was a 30 amp. As another reviewer said, if you're in a site near the exit, do not expect to be able to use the Wi-Fi. The biggest complaint I have is the noise. It's so close to Hwy 95 on a 70 mph stretch and the trucks are noisy just driving normally. If one hits the rumble strips, it's pretty loud. Luckily traffic really decreases at night. The burros in the area seem to be night owls. I felt the sites were pretty close together which is the rule, not the exception when it comes to RV parks. To stress the positives, the price is right and the owner, Mike, was very nice and was more than generous with supplying information about Death Valley and the surrounding area.

Mike, the campground host, is so friendly and welcoming. I booked myself for almost two weeks and loved it.
All sites are FHU and pull-thru. Most of the campground are people staying for one-night, with a couple long term residents.
The laundry facilities are clean and well-kept (and the cheapest I’ve seen in years). Mike filled up my propane tanks and it was super easy.
I would definitely recommend this little campground.
