It’s very interesting to learn about the events and sad. If you’re traveling in an rv or a trailer I don’t recommend this. You’re looking at about 22 miles of dirt and gravel roads. It’s hard on the vehicles. If it’s raining or had rained it could be a problem. There isn’t much to see anyway. It’s a long rough road out of the way to not see much. It’s better to learn about the story an mourn the people than be present. If you’re in a vehicle with higher clearance go for it. Be sure to go during open hours.

Easy stop-over place. Nice to have full hookups. No trees for shade. Each site has a picnic table and free WiFi. There’s also a laundry room with a door code if you want to wash $2 and dry $1 your clothes. No bathroom or shower facilities. At time of posting we paid $40/night and it’s cash or check only. Owner is very responsive but wasn’t on site.

Worth the stop to see. Nothing else like this exists so stop for quick photos and keep going on your trip. Just a quick stopover. No need to stay long!!!

What a let down. Everything including the placard is spray painted and it smells like urine. Don’t bother stopping here.

This doesn’t exist. We came to this address and there’s nothing that resembles any of this. I believe it’s meant to be for a different location and should likely be removed from Roadtrippers

For $55/night you could find a better place. They do have full hookups. No bathroom facilities. Just park and use your own. There is a dog park. Apparently it’s close to an air force base and during the day loud jets are flying overhead. It’s very loud. The main entrance has a wood fence with a small opening. If you have a big rig you could go into another entrance on the same street that has no gate. Unlike the photo attached to this listing, it’s in a concrete parking lot with zero trees. We were told to pick a spot and let them know where we parked. It was 106 degrees so no shade was unfortunate. Thank goodness our AC worked good enough. Also they had 2 dumpsters that were full and overflowing. People were putting their bags on the ground around it. I’d say there could have been better facilities for the price. There appeared to be no on-site staff.

The people were nice but we were pulling a camper and there was no place to park. We rushed to take a photo but didn’t get time to go inside the building for details. I looked up the history of the building and there’s an interesting story that goes with it. Worth the stop

This is an amazing piece of art. The handle is made of real wood and the blade of metal. It’s a true knife. There is a display board documenting the making of it and the qualification of the Guinness book of world record. There is a parking lot but if you’re traveling in an rv there’s no way to pull in and get out easily. You he lot was empty when we went but we decided to park on the shoulder of the road. We had to rush for this reason but worth the stop!

We enjoyed the visit. The price is $12 and today it was BOGO. They have a shuttle to take you different parts of the garden. The entry to the Japanese garden is the same as the botanical garden. They had mallard ducks and large kois. Very pretty landscaping and water features. It was well designed and peaceful. We went in a Tuesday morning thru lunch time. It was super hot but there are lots of places with shade. Rarely are you in direct sun. Bathrooms and benches were places throughout the garden.
