Nice clean campground in a nice setting. We enjoyed the lake and the playground. They even have a designated area for dogs to swim in the lake. It was relaxing and pretty quiet in the evening even for a Saturday night with the campground near capacity. Would stay here again.

Nice campground in a nice setting, clean, friendly staff. We enjoyed both the pool and the pond/lake with the inflatables. Not many others in the campground mid-week, so it was nice and quiet. Would stay here again.

Clean camping with nearby lake access. We enjoyed the swim but noted a lot of algae. May have been an unusual occurrence knowing the required conditions for a bloom. Otherwise nice with our kids. There are young trees at each site providing a little shade where we were, but we were glad to have the awnings. Bathrooms were clean.

So, this was a campground to stay overnight somewhere with hookups. Convenient after ending our day exploring Wall Drug. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and quiet. My kids were looking forward to swimming in a pool, but decided ‘nah’ when they saw it when we pulled in (I think because it was small. [sigh] Spoiled already?). The staff member (owner?) was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were clean.

Great setting of course, and even though the sites were very small and close together we spent the days out enjoying the rest of YNP anyway and really only came back for dinner/washing/sleeping. Note for those with a water hookup: bring a water pressure regulator. They had one (remaining) in the store as they advise everyone the pressure is high there. Shops in walking/biking distance. We went for a relatively short hike from the campsite, but did not let the kids out on their own as the scat reminder this is bear country was just 20-30 yards from one of the campground road loops. Would stay here again.

Sparse setting near 1880 Town. Clean campground and bathrooms. Friendly staff. Nice big sites. There are young trees at each site providing a little shade, but we were glad to have the awnings. Pool area was a little run down, but it was a clean and refreshing nice swim. The openness was conducive to the breeze which kept the bugs away during the evening. Clear and open skies with very little light pollution around were great for star gazing! A nice stay for an overnight. Would stay here again.

Nice clean campground. Bike friendly to store, game room, beach, etc. Mostly open area, so we were glad to have the awnings. No privacy between sites, but there’s enough room set up a little patio area. Clean bathrooms and showers. Friendly and helpful staff.
