This is conveniently located when visiting Capitol Reef National Park. Stayed in the off season (November). Stagecoaches and teepees were not available. Room was decently priced for the area.
Room is fairly big, clean, and well maintained. Beds are medium-firm and nice. Rooms have a small patio with a view of the red hills. There’s a fire pit and hot tub available for use even in late fall. Parking is abundant.
Walls are paper thin; we can hear the people in the next room having a normal conversation with indoor voices. There is a bit of a musty linen smell.
Restaurant is over priced comfort food. $7 for a glass of barefoot wine. Go across the street for dinner or back into Torrey for breakfast/lunch. That said there was nothing wrong with the food, service, or atmosphere. This is convenient if you just want food in your belly.
