Another great spot around the rim to get some great photos. It isn't a must because you can get great views pretty much everywhere, but it's got food and a bathroom, so that's a plus!
Great basic campground close to everything you could need. No complaints! Make sure you book plenty ahead if you want a spot, especially in the busy months!
This is a fun little stop on your way into the Grand Canyon National Park. Yeah, it's pretty run down, but it's only a few bucks to get in and if you have kids who know who the Flintstones are, they will love it. Don't have kids? Maybe give this one a miss.
Really nice modern hotel in the heart of old town Cottonwood which has quite a few wineries and restaurants.
We got seated right away and shared a massive burger and some fried pickles! The burger comes out plain and there is a condiment bar near the entrance, which I thought was great. The fried pickles were the best I've ever had!! Would definitely return if I was ever in Jerome again!
We went here for lunch and almost stayed the night unintentionally - our car overheated. Luckily we were able to start it again! This place was fun for a quick stop, but don't get too excited about it. There is absolutely nothing else in this town. That being said - staff was great! The manager offered to extend his employee discount towards a room when it looked like we'd be stuck... first act of kindness on our roadtrip and very much appreciated!
