Best Western Space Age Lodge

Located just a short distance off the intersection. Great room with comfortable beds. Few places to eat near by and gas stations to fuel for you next destination. The restuarant next door was also great, food was delicious. Would stay again on my next cross country trip.

Sadly the update has taken a lot of the soul of of the place, the rooms are standard Best Western style rooms with a photo of a space shuttle on the walls. Still, they are very clean and comfortable. The exterior and restaurant area still have the most space age theming. Basically this is like a normal Best Western only a tiny bit cooler.

MUCH more updated than I anticipated. Just a regular Best Western with a fun theme. Not a bad place to stay, and most likely on the high end of what you'll find in the middle of the desert. You'll need the ear plugs they give you for the nearby train!

Not that interesting unless you want an interesting place to stay the night.

We went here for lunch and almost stayed the night unintentionally - our car overheated. Luckily we were able to start it again! This place was fun for a quick stop, but don't get too excited about it. There is absolutely nothing else in this town. That being said - staff was great! The manager offered to extend his employee discount towards a room when it looked like we'd be stuck... first act of kindness on our roadtrip and very much appreciated!
