The Riverwalk is one of the sights in San Antonio. It's also home to some of the best restaurants and bars in SA that I recommend checking out. Or if you aren't looking for that scene, just take a walk and enjoy the sights. The weather is usually fantastic so it's a lot of fun (unless mid-summer when you'll sweat profusely).

Having lived in San Francisco for nearly 2 years, I frequented the Wharf many times. There are some of the best touristy things located here including Pier 39, tons of seafood restaurants, Alcatraz charts, and the general Blue & Gold fleet to visit Tiburon or Sausalito or Angel Island. The funniest thing is seeing all the "I heart SF" sweatshirts because people misplan their wardrobe and end up buying a jacket. Walking Pier 39 is fun because of all the fun stores and unique foods. Definitely check out the seals sitting off the pier and grab some pics. The prices at the Wharf are higher than most places because of the significant tourist trap. Don't try to park nearby or you'll pay through the roof. If you can get a taxi down, do it. Or park a bit away and enjoy the walk.

I've been Vegas on my 24th birthday and what a weekend it was. The Strip has got to be one of the most fun places in the world for adults. With endless options to eat, drink, see, play, etc. you can't go wrong with whatever you're into. The first night we did a "hotel" hop wanting to see as much as we could. The second night we did a "bar" hop wanting to also see the best clubs available. This was a mistake because covers are insane, because they can be. People watching is second to none. No open container law makes the night that much better not worrying about chugging your drink before moving to the next place. Finally, be aware of the street hustlers trying to sell you the next best deal on something they're promoting, you can get it yourself without their help I guarantee. Definitely a must see after the age of 21.

This is my favorite restaurant in the world, without exaggeration. If I could only eat at one place forever, it'd be here. I've tried the entire menu as it's always top of my list when I get down to Sarasota/Siesta Key with the family. Some of my favorites: fish spread app, grilled caesar salad with shrimp, clam chowder, london broil, lobster rolls, scallops with pulled pork, blackened fish of the day, succotash, and grits. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu I promise. The owner Joe and his staff are the best, will cater to your every need. Parking can be tough with a tiny on-site lot, but there's usually parking around. Definitely go out of your way for this place, you won't be disappointed. PS - waiting times can be lengthy as it's super popular.

They do a pig roast every Sunday. It cooks for hours right out front for all to see and always smells heavenly. Luckily, if you're a fan of pork, it tastes the same. Menu is pricey and food is adequate, nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way. They also offer Valet despite having reasonable parking nearby. Overall, there's better places in the Village and I wouldn't waste my time unless you want to take advantage of cheap happy hour specials.

I've been going here about once a year for all my life (~25 years). It's by no means an awesome place, but easy to take the entire family of 10+ people without reservation. They have a great salad bar, tons of options for everyone. Then you get to choose from a pasta bar, pizza bar, soup bar, breads, and ice cream. There isn't much in the way of a Golden Corral or similar buffet establishment. It's affordable, simple, and never a wait. Plan your expectations accordingly.

I'm a fan of this place because of two things: 1) convenience and 2) freshness. The first is because it's directly in the heart of town which depending on where you stay, should be walking distance from anywhere. The second is essential to good sushi. They have enough traffic through the door that they're able to keep fresh stock on hand. I'm a big fan of their special rolls, although like most places, these are the expensive ones. If you want to try something different, I recommend a handroll of your favorite staple - mine being spicy tuna. I only give it a 4 of 5 because there are better places in Sarasota, but you can't be walking to dinner.

I LOVE Streetpops! This place is awesome and perfect for any summer day. They frequently change up their flavors to offer a fresh variety no matter how often you visit. My personal favorites were some bourbon vanilla varietal and also the pina colada. They have about 10 options made with dairy base and about 10 options with a fruit base. No matter your preference, they have something for everyone. And their pricing is simple, $3 per pop.

WHO DEY! Such a fun fan atmosphere. I recommend arriving an hour before kickoff as there's many bottlenecks around entrances and escalators. Beers and food can be pricey so prepare accordingly. Limited covered seats so be sure to check the weather forecast.

Super fresh sushi, highly recommend the chef's special (not sure what we got but it was amazing). We called ahead and the friendly staff had a table waiting for us when we arrived. Would go back in a heartbeat.
