One of the quintessential Maine lighthouses. While you can't actually walk the grounds or go in the lighthouse the view of it is spectacular as it sits only 20-30 yards offshore and it is higher than the coastline near it giving a great vantage point and perfect photos. I managed to get there at high tide and capture the waves crashing against the shore in the foreground. Easy free parking and a gift shop located pretty near it. Definitely worth the stop.

Absolutely perfect ocean side walkway that is paved. This walkway goes from the Ogunquit beach area south to Perkins Cove.

The scenery is a quintessential Maine shoreline with powerful waves crashing against the rocks at high tide with a bit of wind was amazing. There are numerous benches along the way to rest or to just take in the seaside air as you listen to the waves.

This is kind of like Newport RI, minus the mansions and adding the ability to actually get down to the rocks and water instead of being on a cliff.

Been many years since I stayed here but it was great to be able to walk right out of the room down a short path to the beach. Sitting out on the Adirondack chairs, listening to the waves crash against the shoreline was extremely relaxing. Didnt have a chance to use the pool as we primarily used the resort as a launch point for day trips to Daytona and Orlando. This was a great option to not get stuck in the craziness of Daytona yet close enough to make it easy to visit daily. I recommend staying in the units on ground level for quick easy access to the cars and to the beach path. Sure its not a balcony but if I am that close to the Ocean, I would rather sit on the beach itself than a balcony. I would definitely go back.
