This museum is huge. It’s free so that is something to know before coming. They have a gift shop and proceeds go to the museum. They have numerous hangars with different presentations. While we were there, the crew was busy fixing some of the aircraft and continuing to improve the facilities. A few veterans behind the desk and walking about, truly was a great touch. Thank you gentleman and women for you service. It’s definitely worth the trip if you around the area.

Interesting to look at while driving past, but that’s about it. Snapped a photo while traveling past. There’s not anywhere to stop and one of the balls has unfortunately taken a permanent break on the salt flats.

Stopped by in March where the water was more abundant. Very pretty and salty. Definitely a must see. North off exit 4 and takes roughly 5 minutes to reach the Bonneville salt flat sign.

Visited during the Firefall and I was lucky to see it the first evening, however not so lucky the second evening. Breathtaking views throughout. Enormous mountains surrounding you while you’re standing in the middle of the village. Once you hit the gate to enter the park, expect a long drive with the speed limit 25 and it’s 26 miles into the park. This park is worth coming back for multiple visits throughout all four seasons. Enjoy!

I can only speak on the view because it was closed during my visit. Definitely want to return when the weather is warmer, snow tends to keep it closed in the winter.

Lake Tahoe has so much beauty. Definitely a sight to behold when you first cross over the mountain and see the enormous lake stretched out below. Plenty of beautiful scenes to ski.

Beautiful scenery. It’s an amazing sight to behold when you first arrive. Definitely a must see. The visitor center is fairly small. The drive around the park is worth the trip. Multiple hiking paths lead to discovering unique formations and sites. Enjoy! I sure did.
