Yosemite National Park

This is clearly one of the most awe-inspiring parks in America. The best times to visit are after Labor Day and before Memorial day, because it can get pretty crowded. If you go and the weather is beautiful spend the day floating down the Merced River. It's a gorgeous way to experience the park. And climbing Half Dome should be on everyone's bucket list. The drive to El Capitan is long, but definitely worth it. Once you drive into the park, within 5 minutes you'll be surrounded by massive Sequoia trees. A few incredible viewpoints include: Glacier Point, if you enter from 120 theres another amazing viewpoint after the second tunnel, Mirror Lake and swinging bridge. I'd also highly recommend visiting Bridalveil Fall.

People say that Grand Canyon should be on everyones bucket list. For me, Yosemite should be. It is amazing, we were a family of 4 with a 9 and 11 year old. We walked to the Base of Vernal Fall, quite a stomp but very rewarding. We also went to the Base of Yosemite Falls, you can walk round dial the side and over some boulders to get right up close. The cherry on the cake was Glacier Point, if you can, make the the drive, the view is breathtaking, make sure you stop at the parking at Tunnel View and look back at the view. THIS SHOULD BE ON YOUR BUCKET LIST.

There are no words to adequately describe Yosemite National Park. Although it is one of the most visited National Parks in America and the number of tourists can seem overwhelming at first, walk more than half a mile down almost any trail, and the crowds disappear. Panorama Trail, stretching from Glacier Point down into Yosemite Valley, is a most, even for inexperienced hikers. I hiked it during the busy season in July 2012 and didn't see another person for hours.

I have not had the opportunity to hike the Dome but I did have to use a bear safe for the first time.

Wish I would have done the hike up the dome but I didn't and I regret it. Did have some fun climbing up and under the waterfalls though even if I did get completely soaked for the rest of the day without a towel, oh well it was worth it.

Been here a couple of times, some of the most amazing/beautiful views I've ever seen. The falls are amazing, and camping is super accessible and fun. Can't wait to get back!

Beautiful place! We originally were going to stay one day but decided to stay an extra night. I would say If you go to Yosemite plan to stay a week. And plan to stay in the valley but make sure you book campground or a place to stay before you go. Finding campground the day of is extremely hard unless you arrived very early to the walk in campground. And by very early I mean be there at least 6am. Other option they have is a wait list for campground, once again the earlier you do it the higher chances of getting a campground. Beautiful place. Cannot leave without hiking to at least one waterfall.

This park is so absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend coming here in the summer as it's mainly closed due to extreme weather in the winter!

Half Dome was one of my favourite places in the US! and the river going through the valley will always be an great composition piece for photography!

All in all a "Must See" park!

I got to visit Yosemite for half a day during a family trip. We got to see both Half Dome and El Capitan, but I still regret not being able to hike either.
