A wonderful stop with large shade trees, level sites, friendly host and a relaxing quiet. Will definitely stay again if we are passing through.
Ok for an overnight but sites aren’t very level and there’s some traffic noise. Won’t stop again.
A great scenic detour if you have an extra hour or two. Highly recommended
An engaging drive through some unique rock formations. The road is rough - don't do it with a trailer in tow!
An excellent way to begin any touring of the Bear's Ears area. Get to see and know some of the Ancestral Puebloan history and culture, then go outside and see it! Highly recommended for an hour or more.
Relaxed, friendly and a nice place to hang in the shade and watch the river flow. Not modern, but homey.
A convenient stop over with spacious sites and views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains which are beautiful at sunset. Each site has a shaded pavilion with a table. We enjoyed the open feel of the place.
The knowledge of the staff alone is worth the price of admission! The people in the gift shop were super helpful in showing us where to find interesting sites for our days' outings. We will go back here every time we are anywhere close by. The campground itself is clean, and although the sites are close together, many have a view of Bears Ears out the back window. Most highly recommended.
Perfect stop over. Perfectly flat sites with no need to unhitch. It’s basically a huge parking lot with about 15 sites for overnight stays, the rest are weekly or monthly. No showers or public bath from what I could see. The photo is totally inaccurate.
Not our kind of place but if it’s your kind of place then you’d give it a 4 or 5. Clean, lots of activities, friendly staff, lots of trees, small sites close to one another, no place to take a good walk, not as easy to get to off the interstate as it looks, meh.
