Looked like an interesting place for cat lovers but I didnt end up staying or trying anything from the cafe because I spotted a handful of fruit flies buzzing around inside the bagel display and that was enough for me to walk out.

There's a LOT of interesting stuff here. If you like to treasure hunt the 2-floors will keep you busy for hours. There seems to be some order to the chaos but be ready to dig around to find the good stuff. Worth a stop in if you're walking past it.

Who would ever think to visit a cemetery for fun? I didn't but took a wrong turn and ended up here and it was definitely a good find. If you like history, off beat/weird things and tomb stones this is the place to spend your afternoon. I spent 2hrs walking around looking at the old tomb stones (oldest one I found was 1803) and the fantastic mausoleums scattered through the cemetery. A lot of the founders of Oakland have mausoleums here that are bigger than an SF apartment and theres even 2 pyramids. Also great views of SF, Bay Bridge and GG Bridge if you get high enough. Bring sun block, snacks, water and a good pair of walking shoes and explore, I'd recommend sticking to the older side which is to the right as you enter or up top near Millionaire Lane, thats where all the old stuff are.

If you like off beat/weird things this place is it and its HUGE. It's kind of weird to tour a crematorium but once you get over the initial awkwardness this place is really interesting. I'd say the older parts of the Chapel are much better to explore as the newer sections look pretty tacky. I spent a good hour wandering the halls (it's like a maze) and spotting free masons. If you're looking for a free off beat thing to do while in the East Bay I'd highly recommend this.

The idea is better the execution. Fun if you happen to be in the area but not worth the drive. The holes are pretty close to each other and there's no room to wait if the groups start stacking up. There was a large group of kids in front of me today and they were holding everything up because they refused to move on to the next hole until the very last person in their group finished. Arcade is pretty dated/limited and theres a larger arcade down the street where you can play unlimited for $5. Overall a Subpar experience (pun intended) experience but fun enough for $9/pp.
