“america's 1st cat cafe!”

The Cat Town Cafe features an area called the Cat Zone, where our cats will be free roaming and available for adoption. Visitors can spend up to an hour in the Cat Zone, and free walk-ins are welcome as space allows. For a $10 donation, you can make a Cat Zone Reservation ahead of time, which ensures your visiting time is available, and supports a great cause. The cafe hours are 8AM - 7PM Wednesday - Sunday, and the Cat Zone will be open from 10AM - 7PM. If you’re interested in adoption, visit cattownoakland.org/cats and email us at info@cattownoakland.org so we can help with match making and answer any questions you might have.

Wonderful people, great coffee and pastries, fantastic cause. Everyone there was very nice. The cats were timid but sweet. This group really cares about the safety and well being of the cats.

Looked like an interesting place for cat lovers but I didnt end up staying or trying anything from the cafe because I spotted a handful of fruit flies buzzing around inside the bagel display and that was enough for me to walk out.

If you actually hungry you better keep looking for different cafe. This place doesn't have much food except cookies and candies. It's more like place to play with cats. Not to eat. We were coming there from SF downtown to have real lunch and were disappointed.
