This planation is wonderful. The tour of the mansion was comprehensive and interesting. The grounds are beautiful and you could explore for hours. There is also a winery and restaurant on site. Definitely recommend for horse lovers.
If you are even remotely interested in the titanic, this is the place to go. It is a self guided audio tour that is easy to follow. There is lots of information so plan for 2 hours if you want to read everything. This is NOT a cheesy road side attraction. High quality and legit.
This place was worth the stop. There are several buildings to explore, a short hiking trail around the pond, and a cute little general store. The workers at the general store were helpful and informative. It was a nice piece of history. You do not have to pay unless you do the mill building tour.
