Spacious sites, gravel, not level but easy to level. Great location near town & Ozark Folk Center. Some road noise.

The park is fine but nothing special or especially appealing. The pool & laundry were clean. The sports area looked good. The office staff was just okay, not welcoming or informative. She didn’t tell us anything about activities going on or about the amenities. It’s a mix of park models & RVs. The spaces are just gravel & dusty, no tables or fire pits. Strange hook-ups, our water & electricity was in our neighbor’s site. Every other site had to run the water hose & electric plug under their rig. Some road noise. Not a lot nearby. The area looks a bit run down.

The campground was a mixture of permanent seasonal & daily rentals right on the lake. The campsites were big by RV park standards. Very shady.
Many of the seasonal permanent residents were poorly cared for & made the park look a bit shabby.
Location was very close to town if you need anything. It was very quiet.
The laundry was in need of updating & care. Two washers $3, two dryers $2. Not very clean & in high demand.

We tired to camp here today but the gate was closed. I checked the BLM website yesterday and it didn’t say anything about it being closed.

We were amazed at how beautiful this location is and it’s free! It was very hot in July so be warned! You can see Monument Valley in the distance and it’s not a far drive to go visit.

If you need a spot to stay for the night on the road, this works. The location is close to Great Basin National Park which is convenient. The RV park itself is very basic with full hookups, level gravel sites. It looks primarily like a resident RV park that isn’t well cared for. Our nearest neighbor was an old beater looking trailer with plywood protecting the wheels and had 6 cars parked around it. Across the park where several single wide trailer homes with some weeds growing around them and an old mattress on the ground. It made me a little uneasy. The Hwy noise went on all night and we got woken up by a big rig backing up near our campsite and then running the engine for over an hour.

If you like dry camping/Boondocking in close quarters then this is the campground for you. Yes they have fire pits, yes they have picnic tables, yes they have vault toilets but every campsite is full, lots of people, lots of vehicles, lots of atv’s and lots of noise. We spent one nights in July and said never again.
