Camp sites are average size. Some sites are more level that others. Has access to Castor River. At normal stages River is not that big. All sites are gravel. Small campground and has sites that locals leave campers there al summer. Do not confuse with Castor River Ranch Campground across the road. No credit cards accepted, cash only !! AT&T is spotty in campgrounds. We got 2 bars by camp host site. No one had any of the other companies.

Large pull through spots. Yes can hear hwy but not too bad. There is a small hill at entrance. Meridian is about 1 mile away and there is just about everything there you would want as far as eating places. Beverly was very nice and helpful. There is a pond on site if you want to fish.
When we arrived we checked quickly and were showed our spots and they were very easy to access and hook up. It was early spring so swimming pool was not open.

This park is located in the Ozark Mountains campsites are very large with concrete patios with fire pits and lanterns pole. All pads are level. 50 and 30 amp hookups. Electric and sewer also. Sites are very easy access. Most are back in and some pull through. Very big rig friendly! We have a 41 foot RV and we had plenty of room. Pet friendly. Paved bike and walking trails. Lots of history on location. Reservations preferred but there are some first come sites also. We will be back. Camping at it best. Rangers have planed actives on weekends. If you like to fish Lake Wappapello is here. Boat ramp is just before entrance. Park is very clean and maintained

This site faces the woods so it makes it private and you don’t see anything else. There other sites that are more open. We really like coming here for the most part quite Big rig friendly. With senior pass 1/2 price.

Our site has full hookups 50 amp concert pads and table sets on concrete. Our 40 DP fit nice with plenty of room for two vechiles. The spots are very large. This site has a site that backs up to it a a angle that is close. That’s the only bad thing. There are tent camping sites with electric only. Close to the marina We ate at Cafe Bridges at the Marina food was great but a little pricey we will be back very nice place. Not too mention its very close to Branson and Silver Dollar City.
