Senior Pass applied. We loved our site. Private and quiet. Patio area was huge and sites were spread apart. We loved it here and would stay here again.

Redman Creek has two campgrounds .We Stayed in West which is right off of Missouri T. As it was a holiday weekend the road was very busy. It does quiet down at night. The sites Have fire pits tables and lantern pole. They are full hookup sites for 12 dollars with senior pass. Sites are easy to back into. Space 2 is right next to the road try for one on the other side. Has restroom with showers. You have to check in at the East campground before setting up.

We stayed at Redman Creek in May of 2019. We paid $12 with our senior pass for a full hookup, back in site.
We loved our campsite at Redman Creek. It was a back in site that faced towards the woods so we had complete privacy. The gravel site was pretty level and included a nice picnic table, a very well constructed fire ring with attached grill, and a pole to hold a lantern.
Because of widespread flooding, we could not explore the lake, many roads were closed for safety. Redman Creek Campground is high enough not to be affected by the high water so we mostly stayed in the campground and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

We had full hook up and good privacy even though we were on site next to restroom. I would not recommend site #93 for anything much over 22' as site is multi level and pad area is somewhat short. There are many long and level sites though.

The gate house was open and we checked in and proceeded to site 99 with FHUs. When we made the reservation for this site online, there was a note that trees may restrict slide outs. We found that this was not the case but needed to smartly park on the pad due to a tree so we could pull out our awning. MO State Parks were to open 25 May but looks like this COE and the one across the street opened for Memorial Day weekend as the park was about 3/4 full when we arrived. It was pretty quite during the week and then filled for the next weekend. They only took online reservations per sign at the gate and you had to have a reservation before setting up. We were also given their social distancing rules, which was nothing different than we were currently used to due to CV-19. The restrooms and bath house were open but the playgrounds were closed. We stayed here a few years ago and Redman Creek East was electric and water but now all sites were FHUs. We needed three more days to get back on track on our planned trip so had to make reservations at a different site. We moved across the highway to Redman Creek West double site 25-26. Our posted cost per site was for site 99 with Access Pass. Per discussion with a camp host, Redman quit giving discounts on double sites last year. Not sure if this is COE wide or just Redman Creek. Site 25-26 ($48 per night) was also a great spot and spacious. Redman West has sites 1-40 and you still need to check in at the gate shack at Redman East a few hundred yards down the road. As a side note, sites 1-20 were along MO Hwy T, which was quite busy and there was road noise. One of the regulars we talked to jokedly stated that Redman Creek West was for the old folks, which we noted was true to a point as Redman East had a high majority of families.

Our first time at a Corps of Engineers camp, but it certainly won’t be our last. We stayed one night at Redman Creek West. It was easy to make and pay for a reservation on Recreation.gov. We are totally self-contained, but sometimes it’s nice to enjoy the amenities of full hookups and showers.
We are already planning a return trip here to enjoy Mingo National Wildlife Refuge in the fall.

Coe Parks seldom disappoint us and this one was no exception. (Please note. Our cost quoted is with our Senior Pass discount.) We stayed in the East Unit that has, a rarity, full hookups in good condition.! It also has a recently refurbished shower house/restroom building according to staff-we did not have occasion to use it this trip. I gave it 4 stars for the following three reasons: poor Verizon service, lots of road noise until about 9:30 p.m. resuming at around 6:00 a.m., sewer connection at our site was "up hill" from the trailer pad enough as to be difficult (and we have a Casita with the high-rise axle); taller rigs will have no problem, though Site 15 is for short units. (We are 34 feet total, trailer and SUV, and could fit in without unhooking with a couple of feet left over.) Please do note that there is NO direct lake access from this camping unit.
If you've booked in this unit, you will have to stop at the entrance to the West Unit to check in there and then loop around the kiosk to get back out and over to this unit, a few hundred feet further on. It's a bit awkward. If you are unhitching, and you have made a reservation, unhitch on your site first and drive over to check in before completing set up. (Acceptable according to the volunteer at check-in.)k All-in-all a worthwhile overnight stop for us and a place we'd stay longer another time.

This is a nice campground in the woods with full hookups and well spaced sites. Cell and TV reception are fine as well. However, the place is swarming with ticks. They're constantly crawling up our legs when we sit outside the camper, and we don't dare let our dogs walk outside or they'll really be covered in them. We like everything else here but the ticks are so bad we won't be coming back again.

This place was great. Lots of space so sites are big. You not on top of each other. Quiet hours were observed. The host easy to work with. Just fyi you'll need to get firewood and ice locally as there isn't any at the campground. Just a great COE campground. Another fyi is it was $12 per night with the access pass.
