A few riverfront mosquitoes at sunset should not disqualify this dandy of a campground. Riverfront quiet, only 15 sites with water and 20-30-50 electric, plus dump station and flush toilets at the immediately adjacent public park. Play pedestrian bridge across the river allows you to walk to and from dinner and a local bar in town. A local craftsman thought highly enough of the campground to craft several very custom fire rings. Plasma cutouts of pheasants and other shapes, plus a swivel grate atop the ring to cook upon. quite nice!

Meandering access thru a wide residential area was no concern, but could create doubts for a newbie.

Long level back in sites.

We arrived around 5pm midweek in our big rig and were greeted with a smile and friendly attitude. When told of our early departure, the man at registration put us near the exit to our loop so we wouldn’t hit other campers with our headlights.

The sites are well separated by vegetation and there is the random 50 amp hookup if you ask at the office. Most sites are 30 amp.

This place is definitely big rig friendly in my opinion. Plenty of maneuvering space if you’re slow and thoughtful. Sites are very deep and mostly quite level.

This place calls itself the Blue Earth Campground, which may contribute to difficulty in locating it. It is truly a gem! 50 amp full hook up spotless campground plus a Porta John for tent campers at only 20 bucks a night. Accessible restroom and shower house very nearby. The small campground, approximately a dozen sites, is hidden behind county fairground buildings so follow the well marked directions from posted signs.

Big rig friendly and pets allowed. Fire rings at each site. Sites are pretty level with gravel pads and grass at each site.

Can’t say enough good things. This one is on our map now and we will be back!! Well done Faribault County!
