All three sites were taken by obviously permanent campers. Men came back wearing orange work vests so apparently workers have discovered they can stay in a spot for $15 that has water sewage and RV hook ups. Picnic tables barbecue grills and covered
Really this place would have been perfect and I will call the city to complain about this..
So we just Boon-docked in another part of the park and didn’t pay.
One note is this park has a frisbee golf course so my wife and I were able to get in a round. I’ll make a review of the course on uDsk. Not that good.

Pros: free, tons of space, any vehicle can navigate, less mosquitoes near the water.
Cons: no services, highway noise, ATV noise, water is very silted (even wondered if my dog should be drinking it).
Good for an overnight and right off the highway.

Not far from Lake Tahoe and plenty of flay concrete parking.
Toilet and lots of room for the dog to explore. Many hiking trails to walk on.
It's not free. $5.00 day use plus 1.95 connivence fee.

The previous review says it all so I'll just add a few things they didn't.
There are basic bathrooms but no showers.
There is a place to pay I believe it's on the honor system so please pay.
Very level and right off the highway. There's even a gigantic field if you have a large Rv but there won’t be any water or electric.
See my pics for all the info.
Would we stay here again? For 10 bucks. Heck ya.

Got a flat spot up high overlooking the lake so a nice view. No services and nothing to do other than relax or fish. If you have a boat you could go on the lake. There is some trash around so we’ll and try to pick that up in our spot.
Considering it’s free and quiet I’d recommend for an overnight while traveling.

Fantastic place to stop and spend a night or two. No hookups. There was hardly anybody here while I was so we had a place pretty much to ourselves. Didn't see any dog on leash signs so my pup was free to roam also. Apparently there is great fishing because it's surrounded by water and the few people that were here were mostly fishing. Appear to be very safe and fairly quiet. There is a highway about a mile away that you can hear but not bad. Very dark if you get into the right spot.

Brooks is literally a city park in the middle of town. We set up our camper in the dirt lot so not sure if one could set up a tent but I did t see any signs saying now to. There were signs that said free overnight parking. Nice grass for the dog to run and fairly quiet. Pick if benches and charcoal grills. No campfires.
National forest Land spot. Free for up to 3 nights. Room for 2-3 campers or tents. Could get up to a mid size Arab but no hookups. Next to a creek for the kids and dogs to jump in and fire rings and picnic tables. I loved this place and would highly recommend for the camper who needs no utilities and wants privacy.

Nice campground with well spaced spots. In our area there were very few level spots for an RV. #104 is by far the flattest, most private, spot.
No dog this, no dog that signs everywhere and the camp hosts came by many times to make sure we were "complying" with those rules.
