Stayed overnight after a week of dry camping and enjoyed the clean space, wide site, flawlessly working hookups and wifi. Great spot for the families. Very clean. Grassy areas for the dogs. Not so much for the people. Tarmac and gravel, cement pads for the picnic table. Wide streets so great for big rigs. Huge area. Restrooms were in buildings a bit far for us from our location but we did t use them anyway. Folks enjoying the fire pit, ours was sitting near the road oddly. Nice that the sites don't see the neighbors hookups, covered with bushes. Not a lot of shade trees although many planted. Kids would absolutely love this place. Resort vibe. Pricey

We stayed only one night but for sure will be back. We have two dogs and the park was very pet friendly. The wifi was a bit slow but we were ok with it as most sites and cell services worked well enough. Our rear view dinette had a pretty view of the trees along the creek. Bathrooms exceptionally clean and with plenty of hot water. The park is nicely staffed, the sites are oriented so we did not feel we were on top of others or in anyone’s space, there is a nice dog run area and everyone honored the parks quiet hour rules. The spaces are unpaved but we had no trouble leveling the camper. We will certainly go back

Very nice little campground tucked in along the Carmel River with full hookups. Spaces are close together but have hedges and fence dividers for some sense of personal space. Small narrow road leading in and i’d sure hate to be coming along that road if some one was coming the other way. Guess folks manage though because even in January the place was getting plenty of use. A good base area for visiting Carmel and the area around. We took the dogs with us to Carmel and walked the beaches. And we went to garland regional and wandered along the trails. The park itself has a short trail to the river but this isnt really a go to area for the park. Nice clean facilities. Nice staff. We’d come back.

Very near to the beach although dodging across PCH was not a very safe option so we drove across. Parking at the beach included with the campground fee. Also possible to scramble down an embankment and walk under the overpass if the tide is out. We could hear the waves at night which we enjoyed. The camp is clean and well managed. Bathrooms clean. Lots of bold squirrels and rabbits, some poison oak along the creek bank in the camp ground but seems to be maintained enough to avoid it. Tent spaces tucked back in from the parking area nicely. Our 21' trailer fit nicely into space 53, larger trailers than ours by far also camped in this loop. The spaces are paved and ours was very level. not particular private but not that bad either as the sites are wide. Potable water near us altho no threads so bring water jugs. Park was nice for families. we were there midweek and it was quiet enough. very foggy but to be expected this time of year on the coast. took about 15 minutes into Malibu for a grocery store. dogs allowed on the beach which was why we picked this spot. All the dogs had a great time too.

Definitely a glamping spot. This is a get what you pay for place, and it’s not the cheapest park around. Even has mini cabins for those looking to have that type of experience. If you like a view, and you have a travel trailer with windows at the back, the back-in spaces 83-87 look out over the vineyard to the winery next door. The big rigs get to go up to the top of the park and can get a nice view looking back down to the valley and mountains to the west. Some spaces are backed up to a wall that is above highway 46, i personally wouldn’t want one of those although they are across from a bathroom building and a club house of some kind.

Everything is very very clean. Also quiet. There were not many folks using the outdoor areas of their spaces. Every space we saw here has a well kept grassy area and blossoming trees throughout. Well kept gardens.

The weather was on and off wet so the hot tub area was kept locked. It looks very resort-ish with stone waterfalls and nice grounds. Big pool looked inviting, it’s behind the main office and store, although we did not partake. Bathrooms were very clean and not at all crowded, in fact always empty during my visits.

Great for dogs, a couple small but effective dog runs kept stocked with bags. Wi-Fi worked the entire time without a hiccup. The free service is not strong enough to stream. We bought a three day pass for ten bucks and the husband could watch youtube which he likes to do. Didn’t use their cable but they said at check in they are installing a service with 200 channels.

Location is nicely situated out in the country side. Stores are a couple miles away which is perfect for us. The Pacific Ocean is barely an hour away at Cambria through a very lovely mountain drive on a well kept highway.

Far too many wineries to see during a stop here for just a few nights. We enjoyed Ecluse winery just to the west and close to Paso, minutes from the resort.

Everyone here was quite friendly.
