I was scoping this place out before I booked. So glad I did. You have to drive your rv over 8 speed bumps to get to your campsite. It drove me crazy just doing it in the car. 8 speed bumps for a 100 yard driveway is absolute insanity! Lots of construction going on, too.

Nice, large level lots with pull throughs available. Extremely nice host was very helpful. Not crowded at all with a rural feel to the area. I didn't hear a peep from the neighbors. There was a little highway noise in the distance but it was not bothersome.

Price of $13 was for a Senior America the Beautiful pass. Otherwise it was $20 a night. They take cash or check in the drop box at the entrance. During covid, it's first come, first served and half of the sites are blocked off for "social distancing", which seems like overkill. The sites are large and widely spaced already. Of the 25 sites, only 13 are allowed during covid.
There is some road noise in the distance, but not bad. I had 4 bars of ATT cell service.

There is NO mention of this restriction on their website. I searched it before I made the reservation. They WILL take the reservation online, take your money, then call to check the age of your rig. If you are honest, you are screwed. They will "refund in 3-5 business days". But in the meantime, you potentially have nowhere to stay and no money to pay for somewhere else. You are more than welcome to show up and let them inspect your rig, inside and out, and see if you pass inspection. Then they might let you stay. But if not, like I said, you are out the money for "3-5 business days" and have no where confirmed to stay. This is their "policy", of which, you are not notified in advance.

I find this scenario just plain rude. If I had known up front about the "10 year policy", I would not have made the reservation, had my funds tied up and caused this aggravation.

Very nice, clean campground with level gravel sites. The only problem I had (besides the highway noise/vibration) was with my AT&T signal for my internet. There was some kind of interference that made it cut out every few minutes.
