Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on November 13, 2022There are 25 very spreadout and spacious sites. The grounds and facilities are very well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again. Some train noise in the distance during the day but none at night.

Large, spacious and level campground sites are spread out and very private. Bathroom is a bit rustic but clean with hot shower. Great place to ride bicycles. Really enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient to Hwy 49. Not far from Gulfport, Mississippi.

We were in space 10, which is away from the road. Very quiet campground, with occasional trains coming by. Restrooms with showers were clean, but had the timed push button for water flow. We paid $13 per night with NP pass, but it would be $20 without. Partial hookups minus sewer. Dump station on site which worked,as expected, and was clean.

Arrived after dark and the sites were plentiful. Easy back in with our Van. Reason for the low rating is the bathroom facilities. We are not bathroom snobs by any means but these were terrible. Broken sinks, no TP and showers that, in my opinion, unusable. I chose the wet wipe shower instead. If it were free, i would graded higher, but for $20, i would like to use the facilities. There are better options a bit further up the road.

Price of $13 was for a Senior America the Beautiful pass. Otherwise it was $20 a night. They take cash or check in the drop box at the entrance. During covid, it's first come, first served and half of the sites are blocked off for "social distancing", which seems like overkill. The sites are large and widely spaced already. Of the 25 sites, only 13 are allowed during covid.
There is some road noise in the distance, but not bad. I had 4 bars of ATT cell service.

This place is so quiet and close to the shore. There’s several golf course that are close by. There was plenty of spots available since I’ve been here.

We arrived around 5 and weren’t sure we’d find a good spot since it’s first come, first serve, but there were lots of spots available and we found a private one nestled in the trees. A great find! So thankful for electrical and water hookups, as well as a fire ring. We would definitely stop here again!

This is a US Forest campground just north of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. After driving hours in the rain I was so happy to find this place and pull in for the night. Nice level site with lots of space between me and other campers. I walked around with my leashed dog after the rain stopped and could really see what a nice and pretty place this is. Has Water and electric hookups. Has a bathhouse but I used my own bathroom in the RV so can’t comment on the bathhouse. I would definitely return and stay again. There’s a dump station conveniently located on your way out of the park.

I was exhausted after driving in the rain. Still miles from my intended stop I was thrilled to see this US Forest campground and stopped. Nice large and level sites for only $20/night. Has both electric and water hookups at each site. Campground is very nice and peaceful. When you’re outside your RV I did hear some road noise as the campground is right off busy US 49 and I was in the site at the very front of the campground closest to the highway but inside my RV it was nice and quiet. Large campground with lots of space between sites. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back and stay longer. I pulled in late afternoon and left the next morning so my only outdoor experience here was to take a long walk around the campground when there was a break in the rain.
