This resort pretty much has it all. We used it as a resort to just chill and relax. I brought my rollerskates and skated the entire campground several times, so fun! The landscape was well-maintained and they really take care of this campground. Don't forget about the FREE shuttle to the casino! My son and I were thrilled to find the Farmer's Market on Wednesday morning and were able to take the shuttle over. Only 4 star because the pool area wasn't very clean. Also, they still didn't allow for use of the yard games because of Covid. Seems like they would allow that if they allowed the pool to be open. Our stay was in July of 2021. There is a donut shop a few miles north off of I-5, yum! Hubby and I won a little money at the casino! Yea! Make sure and sign up for the game player's card for discounts!

Nice, large pull-through site. Paid showers. Free toilet use. Very clean restrooms. Had a really nice pavilion with grills, picnic tables, and yard games. The pond is a short walk to the back end of the campground. It was nice and refreshing. The campground was super quiet. Be aware, there are some full-time campers or locals that live here. They were just doing their own thing and were very quiet and very friendly. The cell signal was poor.

This was our first campground experience with our previous travel trailer (34' Dutchmen Atlas). Our first night, we were in site #1. Slightly unlevel, but we were just doing an overnight. Second visit, we were on our way home and stopped back here for one night because we enjoyed the scenery with the trees and hills. We selected site #23 and it was much better than #1. It was very spacious. We visited the pool, the train, and the restaurant. The pool was very nice, but packed. Again, lots of wild kids in the hot tub...with their parents. Our kid was with us, but we teach him common courtesy of others when trying to relax in a hot tub. Rambunctious activities are for the pool. The restaurant, I would rate 2-3 stars. I would rate 4-5 for the decor, but 2-3 for the food and a 2 for the service. Service was slow, food was bland and "decent", but the decor was super cute! I would def return to this park for the close proximity to I-5, the landscape (trees/hills), and full hookups! Next time, I would make sure and arrive on-time since we were charge $5 for being an hour early, even though the previous campers had already vacated. I would also not visit the restaurant for food. I would def go and hang out at the bar, it looked so cool and the bartender was friendly.

I have camped at several Thousand Trails resort throughout my life. This was a disappointment to me. The only positives were the FHU and proximity to Yosemite. Get here early if you want a site. The staff doesn't make sure people park within their own site and saving sites for their friends. Sites were suppose to be up to 6 people, but we counted 13 in a single site. They had a trailer, 4 tents, and 2 screen tents. Not one employee did anything. They would drive by, but for what? I never saw any rules being followed. We saw a prime spot by the river, only to have a car parked in it. Quiet time is completely ignored. Kids and their parents screaming at each other each night until 1AM and babies crying well into the night. The bathrooms were disgusting. We saw used female pads in the showers, days old Skittles on the floor, and filth and dirt. The showers at the end of the park were push button. You can to keep pushing to keep the water running about every 2 seconds. The spray hurt! I had to hold my arms across my body to keep the spray from stinging my skin. Yikes! My daughter and I typically use the campground showers for more space. The play area was in need of some major renovations. We love mini golf and were excited to play, but couldn't because it was dire need of reconstruction. My son went to play basketball, but some other campers used it to gather their family to eat dinner. They pulled in picnic tables, grills, etc and continued to have their own "party" pad under the net.
