Free dump station located right on the main street leading into Wawa from the TransCanada Highway. Located adjacent to an older huge Canada goose sculpture (not the famous one), on the right side next to Young's General Store. Also has a water hose for rinsing but not for fresh water fill.

Located on the north end of the Canadian Tire parking lot, there is a clearly visible sign at the propane tank for the dump which is right beside the tank. This dump station is much more spacious and accessible for larger rigs than the free dump at the Petro Canada station.

The dump is open 24/7 with a box to put the $5 fee in, but a sign asks between 7:30am and 5:30pm you go in to the Service Centre to pay.

Water hose located right adjacent to the dump for rinsing. There is also a spigot you can screw your own hose on for filling but it is located at the dump so if you fill here, be careful not to contaminate your hose.

Canadian Tire is a huge automotive and household goods superstore in Canada. They carry camping and RV stuff, sports equipment, all sorts of tools, automotive products and a huge assortment of household and kitchen stuff. Show your support and make a purchase if at all possible and be sure to tell them at the check out how much you appreciate the affordable dump station.

Twenty five sites in this campground have all been recently regraded and leveled with compacted gravel footing. There are about 8 sites beside the river although the view is blocked by a raised pathway but you can hear the sound of the rushing water. There are pit toilets but no dump station. No water or electric at the sites but there are water spigots in the park. Garbage and recycling are available.

The campground is adjacent to Green Lake Road but the road is higher up and not too busy so road noise wasn’t too bad. I did not camp here but would consider it if in the area, especially if I could get a site adjacent to the river.

Sorry I forgot to check my cell phone but I would expect they have signal here.

Just up the road is See Ya Later Ranch Winery – they have a huge parking lot and a beautiful property.

Campground was closed for renovations on April 27, 2018, which was nearing completion. Opening date was anticipated within a couple weeks.

Disclaimer - we did not park here overnight as it did not work with our plans. However, when we saw this large gravel parking area with clear ocean views and absolutely no signage, we knew it was a good spot. My guess is that the town of Port Renfrew has provided this space for overnight parking for travelers!

The parking area is right beside one of the main roads in town but traffic should be minimal overnight. Also, at the east end of the parking area, there is a spot where a smaller rig could tuck in behind a rock wall and actually be separated from the road.

Location is right next to a marina and the parking lot could used for overflow boat trailer parking. However, the marina has massive parking lots of it's own for that at the water level. There were no vehicles parked there at all when we were there in mid October.

Note this parking area is higher up than the ocean and there is no ocean access. Oceanfront camping is available in town at Pacheedaht Campground.

Port Renfrew is a super sleepy town - they don't even have a grocery store, just a general/convenience store with some food. Provision up before you come here!

No cell service in this town.

Yes it’s just a gravel lot but check out the view!!!! I literally had a waterfront spot right beside to Old Quebec City! There is a beautiful waterfront trail, well-manicured with grass and trees that you follow to walk to the city.

It’s not cheap but for the prime location, it’s worth it! Also the internet was smoking fast! No hookups so if you come in summer, check the weather first as there can be heat waves with high humidity.

I will definitely come back to this spot! It was quiet at night, the parking lot was completely litter free and there was a garbage bin and a recycling bin too!

Be aware that the 24 hour parking is literally 24 hours exactly and additional time can only be purchased in 24 hour increments.

There is an easy route in but larger rigs beware of possible construction in the city that may narrow certain roads.
